Kaiser Permanente is proud of its long history of work. A total of 40 trade union members, who belong to 16 international trade unions, represent more than 160,000 workers of the permanent emperor. In recent years, Kaiser Permanente has also entered into local and national agreements with unions outside the coalition, including: California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee, AFSCME (American Federation of State of State, County, and Municipal Employees), UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers International Union), ETC (United Steelworkers of America), IBT (International Brotherhood of Teamsters), Kaiser Permanente Nuresthetists IUOE (International Union of Operating Engineers), OFNHP (Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals), ILWU (International New Four-Year Agreement Positioning the Permanent Emperor for a Sustainable Future Thanks to the support of our good care and the protection of good jobs We entered into negotiations with clear priorities and reached an agreement that achieved our goals for a better health system and a stronger labour movement. The agreement provides for annual wage increases and maintains excellent health and retirement benefits for workers, while creating a program to reduce the national shortage of health workers. OAKLAND, Calif., November 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Until September 30, 2023, a new four-year collective agreement between Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanent Unions is in effect. The agreement, confirmed by workers represented by the coalition of the emperor`s permanent trade unions, includes more than 84,000 permanent emperor health workers employed by unions throughout the country. The Permanent Emperor and coalition negotiators reached a tentative agreement on 25 September, after nearly five months of active negotiations that began in April 2019. The agreement was ratified in October by union members at Kaiser Permanente.
